I was wondering how Kiwi has been doing at home while I am at work during the day, so I decided to find an app where I can keep an eye on her! I used my tablet as the camera and I can use my phone as the viewer and its pretty cool, its live feed! if you have more than one tablet/old phone you don't use but has wifi you can set up different view points to switch between. It even has sound, and I can talk to her through it! I was able to see that she was spending too much time on the perch with the mirror (I had already removed the mirror toy she was attached to at first) and I removed that yesterday! today she was much more active in the cage, playing on her swing and what not! just thought I would share, it is called WardenCam.
Here is a screen shot I took the first day I used this, I have since moved the camera much closer to the cage but I did not screen shot it.

Reason: forgot something
I should add, I use a Samsung galaxy which is android, I am not sure if it is available through iPhone or not. I tried to download it for windows 10 so I could use my laptop as another viewpoint but it was not available there.
hmmm cam to view your budgie while you're gone.cool.I like that.now you can watch from a phone or computer.thanks for sharing.I can see a commercial now.got birds running amok while you're away.now there's budgie cam.lol
That is so cool! I am going to be looking into this. Even though I am at home most of the day, there are times when I wonder what the birds are up to when I am not around. I think I am just paranoid but it might ease my mind to know what they are doing at any particular moment.
