Lady loved her egg food so much! I got to the supermarket and realised I hadn't brought my list so I just grabbed random stuff, got home, realised I'd probably got a mix of stuff for egg food and birdie bread so I just 'winged' it...

I hard boiled one free range egg, mashed it all up with the shell, added some really finely chopped carrot and celery, threw in some raisins that I cut into tiny pieces, quinoa and hulled sunflower seeds and some Harrison's pellets (half of which I crushed into crumbs) I sprinkled some millet seeds in too just for the first time to attract her to it...

Anyway I put some in her bowl and stored the rest in the fridge and initially she didn't go near it...after a couple of hours I replaced it with some more egg food from the fridge and after about an hour she began tucking in and spent rather a long time having a feast she was definitely eating the egg and the carrot

I'm so glad to hear that Lady enjoyed her egg food

I wouldn't add the sunflower seeds and raisins every day, though-- too high in fat and sugar for little birds

Sounds like a great recipe, I'm sure she had fun feasting

Great thank you for the advice I will remember that I think they are the two I grabbed but are more suited to birdie bread X
