Thank you Starlingwings! I went to the Avian Vet then came back and thoroughly cleaned everything I could and while in recovery, I continuously will keep all clean as best as possible! I've taken away the wooden playground, kept his cage to a minimal and observing all the time. I'm distraught as a clean and tidy person myself! Bubs has come back and had quiet moments but he has also been himself being chatty, active, eating, drinking and out, flying. His gorgeous self. He has been a little irritated from the drops! Wishing everyone a fab 2017. He is a strong boy and his true self will be back! Nat/Bubs. x
I've been following your Reggie! Gorgeous. I can't believe how this little fella been such a big thing in my life! He is so much fun and means so much. I can only look forwards and learn from this. Making sure I clean to get rid of those little yuk things. The cage is fab. Bubs loves it. Happy 2017! Nat/Bubs. x
Bubs is full of New Year Beans! Lately he's being a pickle and won't go back in his cage! Very clued in. Teenage challenging times. Daddy Budgie had to get him back in the cage and Mummy Budgie had to leave the room. Have a lovely New Years day everyone. Nat/Bubs.
I'm spending my last afternoon with Bubs, chilling before going back to work. Bubs is lively and chatty. He seems to be preening alot not through irritation but sorting all his feathers out. He looks so healthy and acts it too but his cere looks poorly. I was wondering if it will go back to normal again if I follow all procedures? I have 3 1/2 weeks of weekly drops and then what should I expect? Thank you Nat/Bubs. x
I'm glad your Bubs has been in good spirits!
You should see an improvement on Bubs' beak/cere in the following weeks and the crust will gradually disappear. With time the beak and cere will be back to normal and looking good again.

You are missed and never will be forgotten.
Thank you Aluz. Your replies mean a lot. Bubs has been out twice and played happily with his bell toys and the posing before flying to the phone! :-) Nat/Bubs
Thank you FaeryBee. I've been lucky it hasn't affected him. So grateful for this forum. The avian vet said the medication you mentioned 'iver' so that put me more at ease. He is gorg and cheeky. He mimics my laugh. I just have to make sure if I spot something to act fast. He is a little bit big special to me!! Nat/Bubs. x
