Hello all! Welcome to the thread that will detail Sunny and I's adventures with each other! I plan on updating about 3 times a week, so keep those eyes peeled.
I managed to get Sunny out of the cage today! He wasn't too interested in stretching his wings and preferred to climb around on my shoulders and try to snuggle into my clothes! He also liked to mess around in my hair.
Here's also a nice shot of Sunny from the back! I'm excited to see what he looks like after his first molt :O
At one point he hopped into the sink, so I took the opportunity give his cage a wipe down and let him have a little bath! He wasn't too fond of the water though.
That's the end for today! Thanks for reading (and looking!)
Sunny is adorable! I can tell you for certain that with the new photos, Sunny is definitely a little girl
She's beautiful-- her mutation looks to be yellowface II, cobalt, sf violet, opaline, recessive pied Because she is yellowface II, after her first moult, her blue spots will most likely be more green, as this mutation causes the yellow in her face to bleed into the rest of her body colour
I can't wait to see more of precious little Sunny!

Thank you to Deb for her wonderful Faery magic
So Sunny is definitely a girl then! I guess I made a good name choice in the end
Sunny is one of the most unique looking budgies I've owned! Her wings are one of my favourite things about her 'look'
I wasn't able to take many photos over the last few days so I only have one photo for this update. The past two days of letting Sunny out have been pretty fun. She didn't stray too far from me those times, but Sunny did manage to get herself stuck in a cane/umbrella holder thing. I honestly don't even know how she even got in there!
I wish that Sunny would let her wings spread a little more when I let her out, but I can't force her to fly around if she doesn't want to. Hopefully when I upgrade to a cage where I can just leave the door open and Sunny can come in and out as she pleases she'll be fonder of exploring the house.
Here's a awful quality photo of Sunny on a keyboard! At least time time she's showing of her right side
Sunny is most adorable and it will be fun watching her many continued antics...
