Peter, your budgies are beautiful . I especially like the colors of Will and Grace.

One thing we recommend are natural branch perches, instead of the wooden dowels that come with the cages. The natural branches provide different diameters and textures, which aid in healthy feet . Here are some examples: https://www.amazon.com/Medium-Manzan...nch+bird+perch

Beautiful budgies.

You'll want to ensure you clean the poop off all their perches regularly. Sitting in poop continually is very bad for your birds' health.

Additionally, as RavensGryf indicated, it is much better for your budgies to have natural wood perches of varying diameters to prevent pressure sores.

Sounds great Peter

For anyone reading this thread, keep in mind potentially toxic plants when making your own perches. Also, make certain that safe woods have not been exposed to pesticides.

Thumbs up "branches"

My appolagies to all,i forget that this is an international site,we are lucky here in australia as we can vertually walk out to our back yards and pick just about any native tree ,like gum, eucalypt, bottle brush, ect, witch are all safe and natural for our budgies and these trees dont get sprayed with anything, thanks peter.
