My sweet, sassy, snuggly Lemon Drop and I have been together for 2 years! These days she follows me around the house and sits on my shoulder or my computer a lot. I am so thankful that I chose her to be my first feathered friend. She is my budgie-boo, my tweetie-pie, my favorite bird, and the best budgie ever!
Here are some recent photos:

Wet budgies are hilarious!
I hope you enjoyed the photos. Lemon Drop is sitting by me right now making happy noises.
Lemon Drop looks like a very happy little girl and is as beautiful as ever!
Please be sure Lemon Drop is not left unsupervised with a glass as the pictures indicate she seems to like to drink/bathe in them.
If Lemon Drop is alone and falls in, she could easily drown as she would be upside down.

Thank you for pointing this out, FaeryBee. I do not leave her alone out of the cage so that I can keep an eye out for dangers like this. No matter how much I try to budgie-proof my house, she finds something to get into. If there is nothing else, she has been known to munch on the house itself (I chase her off what she is munching when she does this and try to keep wood trim by where she perches covered with painter's tape, which she will not ingest). Budgies require significant supervision unless in a very controlled environment like their cage or a special room just for them. If I cannot provide this, I put Lemon Drop back in her cage.
