Default Living World Mineral Block

instead of cuttlebone i have been using Mineral Blocks because my birds have no interest in cuttlebones. the do the same thing as cuttlebone for their beaks but with extra vitamins and minerals.

just a day after putting it in the cage my birds started to use it where with the cuttlebone they wouldnt even touch it unless to climb on it despite it being in there for along time. i can see more chew marks on it everyday

it comes in only a few different flavours such as apple, orange and pear sadly but they are a good product that my birds love and are great if you feel your birds need or want a little more vitamins in their diet and might be having a little difficulty doing so.

the price differences in this product and cuttlebone arent really big only a dollar or so i believe. they arent as common as cuttlebone or at least in my area. i do wish they came in more flavours but overrall i am happy with the product because my birds took to it almost immediately and it does make it a little easier to give them vitamins. i do reccommend trying them out if your birds dont really like cuttlebone all that much or want to give them extra vitamins.

As "Best Practices" this forum recommends that members use cuttlebones in addition to mineral blocks and manu clay roses.
