Default Skye's attempt at escape

Hey guys! As some of you may know, I recently split my F040 cage in two. Skye gets the top half, while Fizz and Rascal share the bottom. I am limited on resources, so I used cardboard covered in old posters/paper. Well, as you can see, it took my little smarty pants about 3 days to figure out how to slide the paper away from the cardboard. She is now on her way, chewing through the cardboard in an attempt to get to Fizz and Rascal. As if 5 hours of out-of-cage time with them isn't enough.

Why'd you split them up? Just curious.

Skye was always fighting with Fizz and Rascal, and would knock them off their perches and food dishes. Eventually Rascal (my smallest and youngest) started loosing weight so I split them up. Rascal was 22 grams when I split them up, and is now a healthy weight of 28 grams. I always see Fizz and Rascal eating together with no squabbles whatsoever, so they are happy together. Actually, I've never seen them fight, period.

I got up this morning and Skye was in the bottom with the two. She must have worked through the night because there is no way she chewed such a big hole in the hour since the sun rose. I consider her my "problem child," lol. I guess it's back to square one with splitting them up.
