My sooky boy Raz snuggling up for kisses from his mummy :D (and to think I was once worried he would never be interested in hanging out with me after getting Nemo).

Thanks :D. I just love how he leans his head against my lips for kisses! He also pecks me if I don't give him kisses or he gets impatient and kisses my cheek or head repeatedly since I'm not giving him kisses :p. He's so silly. It continues to amaze me how clever they are and what they learn from us :).

I'm GLAD you mentioned that, Eamon .... I only leaned that the other day after watching one of Dr. Ross Perrys videos! I did not realise how sick I could have made Mista :(

The following video link is one we should ALL watch .... Dr Ross Perry is given a thank you for his help and guidance bringing a budgie with a severe coliform infection back from the brink of death to health and wellness - because of a little girl kissing her budgie - the human saliva can make birds very ill.

I only mention it because it is also something I recently learned and I do not want to offend anyone - it is only for the well being of your budgies that I posted it.

Apparently, even a very clean human mouth is full of budgie unfriendly bacteria.

OH DEAR! REALLY

I didn't know that :( :( ... well I'm not slobbering on him, and he seems fine... great no more kissing Razzi. LOL I have a feeling he's going to be unhappy about that. I think he just loves getting attention from me :p. If I don't kiss him or talk to him he gives me light pecks on my cheek, probably reminding me that he's there! HELLO! I should be paying attention to everything he does!

I did not know either, and I seriously freaked when I saw what Dr Perry had to say about it, so I did more research and found out the danger to budgies from doing it - I didn't slobber on mine either - but apparently it only takes a miniscule amount to cause problems. He's allowed to kiss my cheek, but I do not put my mouth anywhere near him. I do hum for him and he leans on my cheek, which is okay.

It scares me to think I could have seriously harmed him!
