Garth is on a distinguished road
Default Spray Millet is Budgie chocolate!

....and it is fattening!

"Hello Sweetie" (Doctor Who fan) would hoover up any size chunk of this beak-clicking delight, until it is all gone.
Then hop down into the bed of the play basket to scoot around and scrounge the paper for for any dropped grains.

That is why I give her small pieces, and make her work to consume them.

I've read just the opposite .. that spray millet is one of the seeds that actually has less fat in it... But "Who nose"....

My birds names by the way are...

Sweetie ((From Hello Sweetie))
Blu (Color of the TARDIS)
Melody Pond(After Melody Pond) *She has 2 names cause she is a trouble maker.
Arthur (named after Arthur Duvall cause I don't like the name Rory)
Amelia (Named after Amy)
Oswin (Named after Clara Oswald)
Castle (Named after Castle)
Vader (Yeah had to slip Star Wars in somewhere)
Violet (She's Violet)
Thunder (was going to be Thor, but changed to Thunder, same difference right?)

And my Parrotlets are Kaylee and Doc named after Firefly (and the Doctor of course)

Those are all the ones I've named.

I guess whichever way you think about it.
Millet is a good food seed, (insert here as long as it is pure unadulterated), but like all things it needs to be in moderation.
Yes it is said like candy to some of them. I think this is one of the reasond it is often advised to use as a training treat.

I have read it is fattening, thats why I only give it to them in the evening,
so they dont eat very much of it.
Its a really good for training.
