Your Dobrica is gorgeous!
The sounds he is making are the ones associated with being uncomfortable and that's why he's trying to bite you.
He is not enjoying your attempts at playing/petting him, that's why he's trying to bite you and is making those warning sounds.
It's best to use a different approach when bonding with Dobrica and to not use "rough playing" with the fingers when interacting with him, because that will lead to bad biting.

You're very welcome!

Your Dobrica liked to be petted before because he was a baby budgie, now that he is more grown and independent, he no longer likes it and it's best to respect his wishes and to not pet him against his will.

Most budgies when they are past the baby stage will not tolerate petting and it's up to the owner to be watchful of the budgie's behaviour and body language and to respect the safe boundaries set by the budgie when it comes to their personal space.

You will find detailed information on how to improve the bond with your budgie by reading the stickies threads at the top of this forum:

Best of luck with Dobrica!

Question thanks for advice,aluz

I read this text before and it work, but now I m pretty sceptic that situation will be better.Never mind,i will not to inssist.
He is opsesive with playing with bowls for cats, and bells, maybe mirror,he boxes everything, and I trying to keep rest him somethimes/does he sometime can to bored too much with this playing to be dangerous for him phisic health.
And how to do if he would be aggresive with his potentional mate budy or girl bird which possible to come one day maybe/but i dont now inssist ,very is specific situation.Does he wish pets with other budgies or he is individualist.Myne before budgie Srecko/lucky/green old budgie was a great friend with Nami love bird/roseicollis,for a years...He was very different from him and I m not sure when I chose this new budgie that he is his old budgie right,,grand` son,,,also I was finaly to choose different ,for emotional reasons ... Whats happen, but Dobrica is still a young, and i know its all different situations.Thank you ,for advice, and ,hope, that i m not bore you with my budgie Goody which is somethime is a little not only good ,but sure soft for emotion, that I never forget in interact with him.

Dobrica is very beautiful

You mention he is obsessed with mirrors and shiny bowls? I would recommend you remove those since some birds, especially solo birds, can become too obsessed and it can impact his physical health. Other than that, playing with his other toys will help him stay interested if he seems bored!

If someday you want to get Dobrica a friend, it should be a budgie. Although some different species can be friends, they should never be housed together, so to get him a friend that can live with him, it should be a budgie

As you continue to spend time with Dobrica, you will be better able to see if from his temperament and personality he will be receptive and welcome well a potential friend or not.
I agree that for Dobrica's safety and welfare that it's best you get him a budgie friend. Another male budgie would be a good option, if later on you decide that getting Dobrica a friend would be the best decision when taking in account his overall happiness.

For FIRST ,TNX for attentoin and help.Dobrica is still with me,and he is my own pet in family of 3 person. This is for first time, pet is esspecialy only in mine care.Budgies before i had was mine too but with help of others, few time when was pair of whites, long ago,one blue i cant to keep, because of temper, and lovebirds was from my parrents.Finches was mine but become a big problem with lying eggs and 2 life chicks and i realy dont think to be smart to get a woman budgie for Dobrica, esspecialy for more reasons, etc.Other male, how you sad,if i understand could be good option for him ,everybody said from my friend and others ,...,and to my like owner, and i m very satisfied because you respect me and my pet so high.I would be able to get some male buddy when Dobrica gets a new ,bigger cage on the and of summer, and when i made some playgrounds for him because he realy like to learn and look around world in home.He is very specific personality, very careful to hisown in phisic attention, emotional. My only problem is how to get him male buddy when in this greate shop are not different between genders and yanger birds.I see womans pets and thats it,i can choose males with blue ceres, standard colors, but if budgie is young,i choose it on risk,so when i Choose Dobrica i expose he is male, but there was so yonger then him and in that situation its realy hard to choose,.../my question,is for pairs need a big depands of relations his months.Temper sure and gender probably and emotion/phisic situation absolutly i m ready to decide/defined.New budgie is not be get yet ,and im ready to learn and look for it for a longer time. Thanks for help.
