I did the post before about the noise level of ten budgies.
As Julie wasn't able to view it I thought I'd re-do the last one.
This is regular evening chatter. I'd say this is happy, content level of noise. They've had some food, they are getting ready for bed and this is the last real chat they have before they all go silent for the night.
Heehee I love it when they do that. Like sometimes there's a noise or they knock something down and they go silent but the unexpected silence is the weird one. I love it.
I'll try and get a real noisy one at the weekend.
My friend stayed with me for a few days and she remarked how pleasant it was with the budgies. she has a tiel so she's used to shrill calls and the budgies are so much more calm than that.
When they go silent, for what seems to me a unknown reason, I always wonder what it was that triggered it. Sometimes in the morning I have the budgies chattering, the canaries singing and the Linnies making their funny little noise, it's great to my ears. Would love to hear more of your flock.
I'd love to have some zebra finches chirping away as well, but I think I'm set for birds for now.
I'll hopefully get more this weekend. *fingers crossed*
Wow, you aren't kidding when you said "just imagine a pet store" . I turned up the volume, and it made Mink chirp excitedly, but I guess what they were saying didn't interest Chip lol. Was it gossip I wonder?
I'd love to hear more, and hear some other moods from your flock. Mine are so quiet, I love to hear budgies singing.
This one is quieter than the last. It's again in the evening so the budgies are more chilled and relaxing, but this time several have lulled into silence while a couple of boys do their best chirping.
