Default In Honor of Jurassic World 2...

Well, today is the release date of the long-awaited Jurassic World 2. Been counting down the days since the first one came out 3 years ago.

In honor of the new movie, thought I'd share my 3 budgies that were all named after raptors from the original Jurassic World. Feel free to add your own or contribute to this thread

First, my handsome boy Echo

My new girl Charlie

And Echo's sister Delta

Budgies are really highly evolved dinosaurs....that can talk....if they want to. Also unlike the ancient dino realm they're great human companions, and don't require much space.

My thoughts exactly, and when a group of them are running across the tops of their cages, I always see them as a herd of dinosaurs.

EXACTLY what I'm thinking! Only thing is...if Charlie isn't split for blue, all their chicks will be yellow based

Katie, I especially love Delta’s colors! She looks Mauve, is that her true color?

Thank you!! That picture looks a little darker than she truly was. Here she was with her new family last fall. This pic is a little truer to color.

Her dad is a cobalt so has 1 dark factor and I don't think her mom had any dark factors (she was grey) but it's possible she had one as well. So if they both had a dark factor, then it's possible she was muave. I just pegged her as a fullbody greywing sf goldenface grey budgie. Still think she just looks grey to me, but it's hard to tell when she's no longer with me
