Default Seed catcher

I just wanted to show off the seed catcher I made for Wooster today! I looked at a couple of pictures online but I've never seen one in person so if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them

That looks good.

Out of curiosity, what size is Wooster's cage?

17x17x21

Before I had a bird in it I though it looked huge! But now it seems small haha. I'm in the process of getting a bigger one. Especially now that I know that I want more than one bird.

Jut make sure that you get a size appropriate for two birds.

What you made is very nice but you might want to consider using a nylon mesh instead of a cotton fabric.
That would not only be more see through, it would allow more ventilation as well.

What size cage are you planning to get now?

I'll keep my eye out for some mesh fabric. I might make a muslin one, that would let more light in.

As for the new cage, minimum twice as wide but we might just build one since there doesn't seem to be too many options for wide cages.

Take a look at the Prevue Hendryx F050 cage.
It's a great size and much easier than building one yourself.

https://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hendry...e+Hendryx+F050

There are usually sales on these cages around the holidays so I'd check near July 4th.

This is a common size for 2 birds, when putting the big one is a problem

You can get this sort of flight cage style and size in most brands nowdays. Standard flight cage 32" wide x 19" deep (sometimes 18") x 64" tall. https://www.amazon.com/Wrought-Fligh...cage+for+birds

The Prevue Hendryx 040 and 050 that FaeryBee uses and loves, are nice cages too. I don't have one, but I have a smaller cage that I'm currently using as Chip's quarantine cage by Prevue Hendryx, and it seems like a pretty decent brand.
