I went to PetCo and I couldn't resist these two color birds. Can you guys tell me if they're male or female?

The other bird:

Looks like both are males, but I would need better pictures to be sure. Maybe someone else can tell better, but looks like 2 males

The budgie on the first photo, I'm unable to take a proper look at the cere to properly identify gender.

The green/yellow one closest to the camera is a boy and the blue one next to him also looks like a boy.

It's a popular misconception to assume a budgie with a pink coloured cere to be a girl. In the budgie world, that's not how it works.
Young, immature budgies will have uniform pinkish/purplish ceres. Once reaching maturity the ceres on males will change to a royal blue colour. Depending on some colour mutations, male budgies can keep the immature pinkish colour on their ceres.

Young females will have light bluish ceres mingled with white and white circles around the nostril area. As they continue to grow, their ceres will get increasingly white in colour and when staring to the mature the cere will start to get a tan colour till reaching a dark brown colour indicating that they have reaching breeding condition. When out of condition, the ceres on females will revert to the creamy white colour which may or may not have some light bluish colour on the edges.

I would say two boys. Pink/purple indicates a male, while I whitish color is a female very pretty birdies!

I'm inclined towards female for the solo budgie in the pic (first one from latest set). From the pic, I'm seeing white colour in the middle part of the cere and around the nostril area.

Still looks like 2 males, but it's hard to tell. I'm assuming you took those with a phone? Plus I think there is no white since it's not the best quality and my male looked like that when taken a picture from my phone. But maybe I'm wrong.
