My boyfriend and I got a baby budgie about a month ago. We thought she was female because the shop had written “Females, €9” underneath the cage she and the other budgies were in. We are also not exactly sure of her age, maybe around 5 months old?
We are beginning to doubt if she’s female because she is very noisy. She is tweeting most of the day, making a mixture of loud squawks, peeps, and pretty singing. We have researched about colours of ceres, but still haven’t come up with an answer we’re sure of.
I’ve provided a picture, and can take more if necessary.
