Hello everyone! I found a budgie almost three weeks ago close from my house, that little bird was starving so I took it, cause I know they don't survive alone here in Brazil.
He's not domesticated but now I can already feed him with my hands. I need help to determine his age and sex so I can name him...
I believe he's male but I have no idea of his age though. Thanks for your help!
Thank you for rescuing the darling little budgie BOY.
Have you made an effort to locate his owners?
If you are unable to locate the owners and end up keeping him, I recommend you replace the wooden dowel perches in the cage with natural wood perches of varying diameters to help prevent pressure sores.

Thank you to Deb for her wonderful Faery magic
Thanks for the answers FaeryBee and StarlingWing! I indeed tried to locate the original owners but no results.
I'll replace the perches as soon as possible!
Handsome boy. He appears on my screen to have fine bars (lines) on his forehead which indicates that he is quite young (less than 6 months old). Enjoy him, he's a lucky bird
that you rescued him.
