Hello Pirpir and Merve!

I do think you have a boy there. But in order to accurately tell gender, we need pics in much better lighting. If you can submit pics close up, clear with no bars in the way, and in NATURAL daylight (put cage by the window), we will be able to see the true cere coloration.

Also, a budgie’s behavior is NOT a reliable indicator of the gender. Either sex may or may not learn to talk or mimic, either can be friendly or not so much, etc.

We ask that all new members take advantage of the learning resources we have here at Talk Budgies. Read through the Stickies posts that you’ll find at the top area of the forum sections, as well as the Articles section. You’ll find a lot of useful and important information on healthcare, diet, behavior, taming, and more. If you still have questions after reading, we’re here for you.

Hi Pirpir! Welcome to the forums to you and your mum

I think you look like a little girl! Behavior is not an accurate determinant of gender. As mentioned, you should ask your mum to post some photos of you taken in natural light so we know for sure

Meanwhile, you and your mum have come to the best possible place to learn more about budgies. Be sure to tell her to read through all the budgie stickies and articles we have on here to stay updated on the very best of budgie care practices! If she has any questions after reading through everything, please be sure to ask as we'd love to help!

We hope to see you and mum around the forums!

Cheers
