Default Gender confusion?

Two new pied budgies came to the flock at the end of June. They are now about 3 mos old and I finally was able to get them to the avian vet today for their first check up. I would like your opinion too.The first one, mostly white is Albert(I think is a boy) and the second one with the blue chest is girl,Trixie. The vet told me to wait a short while to observe before I add them to my flock of 4.
What do you think? Many thanks!Gender confusion?-img_7703.jpg

Yes, the white is a male and the blue is a female.

I recommend you remove the wooden dowel perch in the cage and replace it with natural wooden perches of varying diameters to help prevent pressure sores.

The information in this link will give examples of better options for perches:

Thank you for you advice. I understand...The cage they were in was a temporary travel cage/quarantine cage.
