Exclamation Please help!

Okay, hello. So probably everyone from Brazil to Russia knows that I've been trying to convert Mallorn onto ZuPreem fruity pellets for the last few weeks.

At any rate, I came home today and noticed that her poop was red! Literally the color red, like cherries. It was still shaped normally, not runny, little white spot in the middle....just red.

The pellets, meanwhile, are red, orange, green, yellow and purple, so I was wondering if this was because she's started eating the pellets finally or she has a terrible disease that needs to be checked out right away!

Right now I'm looking at her and it looks like she's eating the pellets!

So what do you guys think is wrong with her poop?

It's the food coloring from the pellets. It sounds like she likes the red ones best.

Mine eat fruity Zupreem pellets too -- those pellets were the first ones my little Sunny liked. One of my budgies picks out the red ones and eats them and one of them picks out the green ones and eats those. I have no idea if they taste any different or if each one is just attracted to particular colors.

When you can introduce the natural pellets to Mallorn and she is eating both natural pellets and fruity pellets her poop will end up looking more brownish.

Thank you so much! That's what I had hoped! She's already eating pellets and it's been only two weeks since I tried switching her over

Happy hatchday to Sunny from me and Mally!
