Default finally got kiwi and blue on pellets! and now for everything else...

I brought home a new baby from Lindsey's and thought I would give some of Lindsey's pellets (roudybush mini maintenance) to kiwi and blue.

Turns out they don't really like zupreem fruitblend, probably for the same reasons dogs don't like kibble. It looks pretty dry and tasteless.

Anyway, they loved roudybush! So now they are only getting millet/seed as a treat. I'm also using a tiny bit of seed to introduce them to other food.

I'm starting these two seed addicts on chopped veggies and boiled egg with shell today. I made a small container so I can feed them for the week since I don't have time to prep anything in the morning before work.

I mixed in a bit of seed so that they would at least put their beak in the mix, and so far, they've spent a long time just mouthing it. I assume they're probably swallowing some too.

I'll keep decreasing it until we get rid of seeds forever yay!

Also brought a sprouting kit and mix from the sprout people website. They have a mix called lil' bird mix, which I'm eager to try out for all my birds.

Great job on getting your budgies to switch to pellets! That's quite a feat!
