Change of diet
So I was wondering how good it would be for my budgies, for the first 2 months of having Dani and 1 month of having Sama, we were feeding them some sort of millet, yellow millet with giving them Bananas, Cucumbers and Apples from time to time.
Now we got new seed mix Hartz Bonanza tropical blend. It contains white millet, red millet, oat groats, canary grass seed, whole wheat, rape seed, ground corn, dehulled soybean meal, flaxseed, green split peas, corn gluten meal, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, niger seed, soybean oil, dehulled chipped sunflower seeds, dehulled sesame seeds, dried papaya, dried carrots and so. so I am wondering how good is this mix? :) and any advice on how to improve their diet since Dani is moulting so gotta help the little fella :)
Sound's like a real healthy mix of seed and veggies. Egg is very beneficial for bird's especially during the molt. Hard boiled and chopped/mashed with some nice pieces of raw green's is what I give mine. Sprouted seed is very nutritous to add to your flock's diet too...:)
