Default Zupreem Fruitblend

I can't believe it. I've whined on and on about my picky eaters and how they won't eat pellets or whatever and how I keep trying. right?
I tried Zupreem a while back and they said... BLEH!!!!!!!!!!
So, they occasionally humor me by eating some Roudybush crumbles here and there when they think I'm not looking.
Today, I bought Zupreem Fruit Blend again... and guess what?
Lemony, Ivy and PJ ate it.. not just a bite and run.. they ATE it tonight before bed. Oscar, not to be outdone, tried it, but wasn't as convinced. Cody's waiting to see if anyone dies from it, I guess.

I AM SHOCKED {and proud of them}

Well hooray for Lemony, Ivy, and PJ!

Once again it's proven that all birds can acquire the taste for pellets, fruits, veggies, and anything good for them through persistence and the patience to allow them to do so. You know, there are still many bird owners in the world who feed their birds only seeds because they think that's what their birds will only eat. Well, if that's what you believe and don't offer them anything else, of course they'll also be confined to what's available and wouldn't know how to eat anything else. Let your birds acquire the taste of all the goodness the world has to offer like you would with your own children and the reward of their proper growth and good health is priceless.

I'm so glad they liked it! I was also surprised how little time it took Mally to eat it, considering she's a picky princess and also taking into account all the frustrated stories about switching budgies onto pellets.
Awesome job, little ones! Mallorn says; "I told you so!"

Well, this morning they said to me... "don't push your luck, lady!.. We may or may not eat this again, so cool it!". I removed it and gave them a veggie/egg food mix with a little canary seed and a little Zupreem. Maybe I'll give it by itself again tomorrow in the evening.
Do you guys ever mix it in their seed?...
I KNOW they'll eat it again now they've accepted it.. they are just toying with me.

When Mallorn started eating it, I took away all the seed that was mixed with it for a week or more just to reaffirm the fact that this was going to be her main diet from now on, and it worked really well. Now, I mix it with seeds in a ratio of about 20-25% seeds to 75-80% pellets and although she always goes for the seeds first, she eats her pellets with gusto
