Default Harrison's bird food?

Has anyone tried Harrison's bird food? It looks great as all their product are organic. Has anyone tried it if so is it any good?

Yes, Harrisons is a very good brand.
I've used it on recommendation of my Avian Vet.

Strongly recommend Harrison's, it's one of the best foods out there! Glad you're considering this food for Mango, Blue and Joe

I currently use Harrison's Adult Lifetime, Super fine size. My flock loves it! and so do we! They love the food, and I love the fact that it's certified organic. They did eat the fine size, but prefer the superfine. All of the avian certified vets in my area, which is only about 3, strongly recommend this food. It's their first suggestion. I have also tried Roudybush, which they also enjoy, and I occasionally use it as a treat for my Lily because of how much she likes it. But for the most part as a daily food, we all prefer the Harrison's. The only thing you have to watch out for if you get the superfine, is that some batches the size is bigger than it should be. It all goes by expiration date. If you get an over sized pellet, you can call Harrison's and they are usually able to replace it. Although they will probably tell you to take it back to the store. Unless of course you order it online. Say you get a bag with over szed pellets with an expiration date of AUG 2015, you just call Harrison's and let them know of the problem, and request them send you a bag with a different expiration. Ad the people at the company are wonderful. Never once had a problem with them, even when I only called to check on information! I hope this has helped. Good luck!!!

All my birds eat Harrison's and they all absolutely love it. I've used Harrison's for probably 15 years now with one of my parrots, and the proof of a great product was in his blood panels over the years.

I know others say their birds don't like it, but maybe I got lucky. Actually I haven't tried it with Mink yet, since she was used to Roudybush.

Thanks everyone for your reply so I read the Harrison's bird food product guide and have ordered what I needed. I got the high potency super fine. The budgie bread millet and flax seed. And the sunshine factor to mix in with seed or bread. I also read that after Joe has had the High potency for 6 months he can switch to the adult one if I want.

Best bird food on the market. All you need do is compare labels and you will be swayed to purchase. Important to remember their food should be kept in the refrigerator because there are no preservatives.

I'm glad you ordered super fine, I have got fine and they won't touch it, I think they would rather starve Where did you order from?

Looking forward to seeing how Joe gets on with it.

Default Wrong food

So as you may know I ordered the Harrison's high potency super fine but hey sent me the fine. My budgies tried to eat it but just dropped it again. They are hungry so I put seed in for them and they ate hat. Before I email them is there any way I can make it more fine? I tried mashing but that didn't work? Or maybe they won't eat it because it's new???
