Default need seed recommendation

Can anyone recommend a quality seed for my two boys? I am working on getting them to eat veggies, but it is a slow process.

Dr. Harvey's is the best seed out there! It even has veggies in it, and many birds transition better to eating veggies after this seed.

It is great that you are trying to get them to eat what is healthy for them.
My opinion is a varied diet is the best, my birds get greens, crumbles, pellets, and seed as well as fresh grasses and cuttlebone. I am in Australia and I buy my seed from an agricultural supply . They sell in bulk and make their own mix.
I don't buy from a supermarket as I have heard some not so good reports on their own brands of seeds.

Sprouting your own seed is also a great way to get them to have a healthy diet which you know what is in the mix.
My guys love Niger seed as a treat which I buy separately and add a small amount to the seed mix occasionally.

Have a read through this link.

Both Volkmans and Dr. Harvey's are good brands and are available on-line.

Cathy's given excellent advice about providing a varied diet.

Default good to know

thanks for the replies I just ordered Volkman's on-line. Price was not too bad. I'm goimg to get some kale and see if they will try it. I'm surprised that they won't even try fruits.

P.S. After more research, I cancelled my order for Volkman's and ordered Dr. Havey's. Even though it's expensive, you can't put a price on your budgie's health. I'll let you know how they like it.
