Default Budgies not eating fruits and veges

My budgies aren't eating any fruit and vegetables I give them. I give them broccoli and apples but they never eat it. I mix it in with their food and I put apple slices in their cage but they never touch it..

Have you tried presenting the veggies and fruit in different ways? As in finely chopped and placed on a food dish, for example. You need to find out what is most appealing to your budgies, when it comes to presentation.
Mine love big leafy green freshly washed veggies that I hang to the cage, they will eat and bathe on the veggies.
If your budgies are bonded and have a good interaction with you, you can also pick a piece of veggie or slice of apple and pretend to eat it right in front to them, this can make them curious enough to give it a go. I have also been successful by using this method.

If you keep offering the fruit and veggies, they will eventually try them out.
For more tips and information on the subject, you can always check the stickies here at the Diet and Nutrition section.

Best of luck with your budgies!

Fruit is high in sugar content so vegetables are actually healthier.

Please take the time to review the stickies in the Diet and Nutrition section of the forum for advice on how to introduce new foods to your budgies.

The first vegetable my guys tried (and loved) was sweet corn kernels sprinkled with a teeny bit of garlic powder (NOT salt).
Budgies seem to love "spicy" tastes.
My guys adore fresh basil, cilantro and chickweed.
They also like zucchini and red pepper.

Couldn't agree more with the advice above! My little girl loves leafy greens and herbs like parsley and cilantro.

She also enjoys shredded carrots Good luck, and although it seems they'll never eat their greens, I'm sure they'll get curious and try a bite soon.
