After nearly a year, I am glad to say my 3 birds eat their vegetables now. More so romaine lettuce. They also like Peas and Cucumber but i only give them sparingly since i know it can cause diarrhea. I was wondering why they always have runny droppings after eating their vegetables? I know that it's related with the food and nothing else because when i remove it, it gets cleared up. My bird snowy always had digestive problems, and we have taken her to the vet and got all the clear. So? Should i give them lettuce sparingly as well? I will add a picture. I cleaned their cage yesterday so please don't mind the messiness

Here are some pictures

It's great your budgies have started to eat some veggies!

When they eat their fresh greens, especially veggies with a higher water content, like lettuce, it's natural that they will immediately produce more watery droppings. The same applies when they eat a tiny piece of fruit, like pear, tangerine, apple, etc.
Generally speaking, the greener the veggie is, the most vitamins it has. Since your budgies willingly eat romaine lettuce, you can try to offer them other veggies like kale, spinach broccoli, watercress, etc. You can also have a go with carrot, corn and other goodies. Even with veggies it's good to have variety in order to better satisfy the budgies' needs.

RIP sweet Tito (Summer 2008 - January 17th 2013).
You are missed and never will be forgotten.
