Default "Sunshine Factor" supplement for Budgies?

I was wondering if anyone gave their hookbills Red Palm Oil (Omega-3) supplements like "Sunshine Factor"? It's supposedly a good supplement for larger parrots like African Greys - but what about for Bourke Parakeets and Budgies?

I would also give the supplement to budgies with a deficiency of vitamin A.
One example is a female budgies with a cere that is very large and sticks out. Vitamin A helps. Also worth a try for a short time to see if it makes a difference in a budgie with somewhat dull feathers.
But I would not give it all the time. It is just too rich for budgies.
Try to get them to like carrots instead.

We give our birds the sunshine factor sometimes, and makes their feathers and over all appearance look great!!! I love the stuff. We get the Booster too from time to time, but don't mix the two. The Booster has anti-microbials in it that help to get rid of any little nasties that may be hiding out. We mix 15ml in with 1lb of food, and give that to them for how ever long that bag lasts, and then it's back to the regular pellets with nothing on them. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks for the replies. So it sounds like "Sunshine Factor" is an OK supplement but in very small quantities and only given occasionally.
