Default one budgie eats pellets other one not so much

so I have been working on blu on and off to convert to pellets (kaytee brand) and I got a zupreem canary size to see if hed like it better. so he has definitely taken to it and he is eating it just fine. I want to make that his main diet now with only some seeds around lunch or for snack. the problem is that his cage mate Trixie has never been introduced other than today. she is nibbling but not quite chowing down. will she just follow his lead and I don't have to be concerned about switching diet or should I wait until she is more keen on eating the pellets before making it her sole food?

Some budgies will eat Pellets and some don't you also have to have a diet of budgie seed in there cage as well. Also you have to give them a good diet of veggies like Corn Carrots Silver Beat apple etc. How can small budgies eat big pellets they are for a larger parrot's. I believe in all natural like budgie seed. I have small budgie crumbles in my budgie cage if he chooses to eat them he will but he loves his seed the best and i give the best seed i can buy..

No onion or avocado apple seeds they are toxic to birds. You can read up the diet and Nutrition section on the form.

A few things here. First, I honestly don't know how they expect small birds to chomp on Kaytee pellets; they seem so hard, lol. I find Zupreem ones much easier and my cockatiels got to really love them with time. But it took a while for them to get used to pellets. I also had to go one size down - they have an easier time with the pellets for budgies. Secondly, I don't really think that any bird should be fed mainly or exclusively pellets - it doesn't seem healthy. I feed mine a variety: seed mix, vegetables, egg, and pellets on the side.
