Default Mandarins?

There are an enormous amount of mandarin oranges in my apartment right now, and I was wondering if they were keet-safe. I know tangerines are okay, but I don't know the difference between the two. If they are, how much is okay to offer at a time?

Yes, you may offer the fruit portion of a mandarin orange to your budgie.

Fruit has a high sugar content so it is best to only offer it occasionally.

You might try cutting one section of the orange in half and give that to him.
If he eats it at all, he'll just nibble at it a bit.

I'd remove the piece of orange from the cage after about an hour if it were me.

Let us know if he tries any!
Pictures would be fun, too.

That's one of Pig's favorites! I usually give half a section that's been kind of opened up so he can get at the little bits more easily.
