Hey I've been feeding trill budgie seed mix for years and have heard many good reviews about it, However I have noticed some people on here saying they wouldn't recommend it? I was just wondering why? I found it had a nice range of seeds and grains. It does include shell grit but it's a tiny amount and my budgies don't bother with it anyway. It sprouts really well for me, I just take out the non sproutables such as the nutrivit pellet, the oats and the flax seed. I have had no issues at all with this seed mix and it appears to be one of the best ones available to me. Of course I always want to provide the best for my birds which is why I'm asking. I saw on the Quality seed mix sticky some seed mixes that were recommended however both contained nuts which I don't like to give to my birds due to the fatty content and lots of dried fruit. This sounds kind of sugary to me, and I've also found that when I've tried to offer any dehydrated veggies my birds just ignore it, they prefer fresh. If someone could shed some light on the trill seed mix and these other mixes for me that would be great. Please keep in mind that this is Australian Trill, made in Australia and is different to the UK Trill.
