Default Should seed be provided every day?

Hey I know this may sound like an odd question to ask but it's related to pellets. In an attempt to make sure my budgies get everything they need, once I got my birds eating pellets I began replacing their daily seed portion with pellets twice a week so I could be sure they were eating them. However after reading through may posts on this forum, I am starting to think this may not be the best approach for them. I did this out of concern that they would just ignore the pellets if I had provided them with seed as well all the time. Anyway should I instead give seed every day with pellets either mixed in or in a different bowl? I apologise for making so many posts on the forums, I'm just a paranoid person and am always striving to provide the best possible care for my birds. Please note that they also get veggies every single day and sprouted seeds 4 times a week at the very least.

Usually people have pellets available for their birds at all times and offer seeds twice a day, giving just a teaspoon and one-half to two teaspoons per bird.

What I've been doing recently, which send to have been working, is constantly have pellets in the cage, but replace that dish twice a day with a tsp of seed with pellets mashed over it (you can buy Harrison's mash, or if you're cheap like me, just mash the pellets you have yourself) This way, my budgie always goes to the same spot for seeds and pellets, as opposed to just waiting for seeds in a different part of the cage, and ignoring the pellet bowl all together.

Therm is correct.
A budgie should be offered 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of seed per day.
On the days they receive sprouted seed the sprouted seed can count as that day's seed ration.

(Deanna - your method is fine if that is working well for Smol)
