Default Store bought Sprouts.

I"m a super busy guy, I work and go to college full time finishing up yet another degree. (Eventually one of them might actually pay off lol) I am wondering if I can just try some store bought sprouts. My local Supermarkets carry various types like alfalfa broccoli soybean mung wheat etc. Would it be fine for me to just pick some of these up? Currently, all of his fruit and veggie intake is freeze-dried which is fine from a nutrition perspective but I still want Ing to be exposed to as large of a variety of foods as possible including different pellet types and seeds as well as fresh fruits and veggies and even freeze-dried. (It would break my heart if what he was used to wasn't available suddenly and he suffered for it.) Can I assume if the full-grown fresh veggie is fine the sprout will be fine? Also another quick question, that I've looked for the answer to but couldn't find. How long can slightly moistened pellets stay in the cage? I have to moisten anything new and put it in the bottom of his cage in a medium shallow Tupperware bowl for him to try it. It's how I got him to start eating pellets. That and I pecked at the bowl too.

Store-bought sprouts are fine to give to your budgie.
Just be sure to rinse them well before serving them.

I wouldn't leave moistened pellets in the cage for longer than a day... If you only put a bit in at a time then there won't be much waste.

Thank you FaeryBee! I also found this link on freezing sprouts if anyone was interested in that.

Can I freeze seed sprouts?

Certainly will make my life easier! Thank you again!
