Default Zupreem FruitBlend droppings!

Hi everyone,

So a bit of background: both of my budgies have a diet consisting of a mixture of pellets, seeds and fresh vegetables (especially greens like spinach/broccoli etc.). One of them especially likes vegetables, and as such his droppings have more water in them. Both are happy and healthy.

I had them on Harrisons High Potency for conversion and they ate it without too much trouble. I recently started them on the lifetime version as the 8 months conversion period is up, and they HATED it (even over. gradual conversion). As such, I decided to switch to Zupreem instead (which is also more readily available around here). I bought the FruitBlend version, but yikes! I read posts about dropping colours, but this is some of the second budgie (veggie lover) after just a single day:

Freaks me out, especially as I've had budgie with droppings like that before when it's had a kidney infection!

Budgies digestion is really fast, if you want to determine if what you are seeing is from the pellets, withhold them for a day or two and just feed the seed and veggies and see if the droppings return to what you are used to seeing as normal or take a fresh sample to the vet for his/her opinion and analysis.
