Default 1st time vomiting

So this morning I woke up did the same routine clean bottom of cage feed Rocky and then let him out while I'm starting working. I was eating boiled eggs but the white only and crunch on one little piece of egg shell that was still on one of them so then put the little piece on my desk but Rocky came and ate that boiled shell .Then probably 30 minute later he was in the cage and I saw him shake his head side ways and spit seeds eveywhere a couple times in a row I became so scare and concerned as I know it is vomiting and not regurgitating. I then came close and look for any sign of wet coming out of his mouth or anything else and I could only see seeds. Then right after he went and ate his food (seeds) and was is usual self .I kept watching him and after him vomiting i saw 2 -3 spot of mostly urine "clear" no dropping but probably 15 minutes after his dropping was normal he has been playful chirping all the usual ... now this happened once since i got Rocky 2 months ago and again I am new owner so reading at vomiting post and it looks like if it happened once it fine and that it happened sometimes but do you think it might be the egg shell? It's just weird that it happen no too long after and he never ate that before so maybe a piece was stuck? I have been watching him all day and everything is as usual but I'm worry as hell right now he is sleeping on his playgym having his little siesta .. please let me know if I should be worry?

I'm sorry your Rocky has vomited. Maybe the bit of egg shell he ate made him sick and he vomited as a consequence.
How is Rocky doing now? Are his droppings back to normal?
If he is doing well, keep on closely monitoring him for the next few days and if you notice a change on his appetite/activity levels or if he vomits again, then it would be best to book him an appointment with an avian vet specialist.

I'm wishing your Rocky all the best!

Oh... so sorry to read this.... ...but it sounds like he made a solid rebound. Hopefully it was just an anomaly and nothing at all going forward. Sending out good vibes for Rocky. His cuteness is arresting ~ !

It does sound like all you can do is keep an eye on him and get to the vet at the first sign of more concerns.

I never anticipated the anxieties that come along with owning a budgie (I'm in a constant state of "are you ok?" Here's to hoping that Rocky is totally as healthy as he looks.

Hi Aluz, yes Rocky has been ok since that vomiting occurred droppings are good and he drinks eats and play I have been keeping a close eye on him all day and will for the next couple of days. They are such llittle creature it's scary..and I am still learning about them. I have a dog and been owing dogs for a long time so i know when something is very wrong but budgie i still don't know everything and they are so small and hide their illness so good it's scary... I will keep you posted if something else happen
