Default Tumor

Hey everyone. My dear Opal is a budgie obviously and she has suffered from a fatty tumor near her butt that has seperated her legs but now it is going down due to a new diet and apple cidar vinegar in her water and i was just wondering if her legs will go back to normal because it has already gone down heaps or is there something i need to do like stretch her legs? Thanks for the help guys!

I'm very glad to hear that Opal is responding well to the chance in the change in her diet and the addition of ACV.

Adding knotgrass to her diet (if you haven't already done so) may also help to reduce the size of the tumor.

We have no way of knowing the extent of the problems with your budgie's legs as we are unable to personally examine them and are not qualified to give you that advice.

While gentle physical therapy may indeed help Opal, that is a matter to be discussed with your Avian Veterinarian.
