Default Avis has suspicious colored poops

I was training Avis just now and noticed that he pooped. I looked around for it (I could tell he pooped because his body language) and couldn't find it. It was only until I found this that I became worried and thought I should post it to the forums. What do you think? His diet recently has been mainly Edamame if that helps. Is this something I should take to the vet? Please help! I don't want Avis being sick before our trip!

More concerning. When I tried to pick up the poop, the consistency wasn't solid as it should be, but rather was more of a dry apple sauce consistency? And it didn't really pick up. Please help.

Is your budgie active and eating normally?

If you've been giving him more Edamame (soybeans) than seed/pellets, that would result in the change in both the look and consistency of his feces.

Keep in mind that you need to provide a complete balanced healthy diet for your budgie.
This would include pellets, a high quality seed mix, egg food once or twice a week and a variety of "safe for budgie" vegetables.

Thank you for your response. Avis has pellets in his cage and I am giving him some seeds as well. He has been eating normally with an active lifestyle.
