Default Computer Routers and Modems

I can't find that anyone has mentioned this on the forums before, but I'm curious if any of you keep your budgies in the same room as your computer router and modem equipment.

I'm finding conflicting information on the internet about whether the EMF waves may cause behavior problems. I'm beginning to wonder about all the people in the world who sleep with their cell phones next to them and work at computers all day, and how everyone seems to be so angry and short-tempered over the past few years...

Has anyone moved their budgies from room to room and noticed any kind of change in mood or behavior related to this?

Budgies, like people, can have all sorts of behavioural problems. It would be very hard to determine the stress caused by such equipment as I think that just a change of room could improve a budgies happiness for reasons we wouldn't even think about.

I've had budgies in several rooms, one with a router and never found any worrying behaviour at all.

That's good to know. Thank you. I will have to see for myself if his/her behavior changes. I plan to keep him/her in the living room at first, then move him/her to my office. Or not.

Decisions and uncertainty from a new mom...

I really only have my bedroom because I live in an apartment and my roommate has a dog. I have a router in my room and it doesn't seem to bother Niko at all.

My budgies have lived in a room with a router and one without, and I can’t say that I have noticed any difference in their behaviour.

Thank you, everyone. Hopefully my little one will remain 'unfazed'.
