Sorry I haven't been able to stop in here. I haven't seen seeds in Parker's droppings lately (although they are still very green). I wouldn't go as far to say she's doing great, but she's hanging in there.

We haven't been back to the vet yet because of some other emergencies, but will try to get back for a checkup soon. I may have to leave it until the end of the course of medication.

Will keep everyone updated!

Well this doesn't seem right.

Parkers droppings were starting to look better, but I just walked into the room to find her either regurgitating or vomiting whole seeds. And it's quite a bit. She keeps bobbing up and down and the seeds just keep coming out of her mouth in clumps.

Still trying to get a hold of the vet. How do I know if it's regurgitating vs vomiting?

No, that isn't a good sign.

Regurgitation vs Vomiting

Thanks for the link Faery.

Still haven't gotten a hold of anyone. I think it might be vomiting. It looks like there is some mucus in it, as it's sticking in clumps to anything it hits like the food dishes and perches.

She's all puffed up with her eyes closed. I'm going to bring the temperature of the room up a bit to see if that helps, even if only a little.

Sending lots of prayers and healing energy for little Parker. I hope you are able to reach the vet soon.

So sorry to hear this it does sound like she is vomiting. There is a medication that can be given for vomiting is she still on the
Amphotericin B?

Yes, she's on her last few days of the medication.

No, it is just the Amphotericin B.

Things aren't looking good this morning. I changed out the paper on the bottom of her cage last night so that I could better monitor things, and there are no new droppings. Just piles of seeds. She's puffed up really big, and spending time on the lower perches or even bottom of the cage.

I wish I had been able to bring her back for the checkup half way through treatment... maybe they would have caught something going on earlier. Now I'm not even sure if she'll survive the trip there.
