sure.But as you said earlier, my other budgie has mites and patches so i had a vet check and he said that my other bird had mites but chiku dosent have it but however it may get to him also.

He gave some medicines and now the patches have gone.chiku dosent have any mites

You were advised to see a vet only yesterday. Now you say they are better? How can that possibly be. Even if you were able to have an appointment right away, it takes a little time for meds to work. It’s not just immediate. What medicine did your vet give?

There is some misunderstanding.... The vet check i was talking about was of last month in that .The medicines i was talking about in the earlier vet check were their private ones which i had to keep in fridge.

Bugie King - You as the original poster are the one confusing the issue in this thread. You asked one question and then changed topics from respiratory concerns to mites. Please make sure your postings make sense. We can only interpret what you write in context of the information already given.

If one bird has/had mites, both should have been treated for the problem. End of topic.

If your budgie has respiratory problems, it needs to be taken to the vet for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

As per your other thread, these two budgies should be separated since the male has been overly aggressive toward the female.

Nothing which can be used as a nesting site should be present in the cage(s).

I'm closing this thread.
