Question DIY toys - what's safe to hang up with?

Hi - I'm trying to think of how to make a little foraging toy for Razzle - there's a lot written about NOT using string/rope in cages - so what's best to hang things from the top of the cage?

Bird Supply Stores carry a variety of plastic chain, nickel plated chain, leather strips, natural hemp etc. that can be used.

Here are two excellent UK websites:

Natural bird company
bird safe toy parts, safe bird toys, parrot toys, toy making parts for parrots, safe wood for birds

Pine4parrots
Toy making parts

...and here are a couple of others (where you’ll need to assess toy safety on an individual basis).

Northern parrots

Scarlett parrot essentials

I tend to use either the veg tanned leather strips or paper rope.
