I've been wanted to rig something from my vaulted ceiling, and I stumbled upon these beautiful Kulu branch bundles at Michael's. They are a pale blonde wood, no smell, lovely curves and bends, no odor. They appear to be Kulu all the way through, with a slightly softer core.
But I can't find a thing about them, or even if they are real wood, or some fake material formed to look like wood. I was hoping someone here had had some experience with them or knowledge of them.
I've never hear of Kulu wood and could not find anything about it in doing on-line searches.
Does the tag on the branch give a manufacturer's name? If not, ask the store manager if they can give you the name of the supplier so you can contact them directly to determine what the wood is and whether or not it is safe for your budgies.
