Hi
I do not have access to any safe Budgie trees. I had been using Apple branches as perches for my Budgie but that was from a neighbour’s tree and they have now disposed of that tree.

I looked online and I found natural branches of willow and bamboo in craft stores sites would those branches be safe? I am thinking of making a new play gym with them.
I have seen ppl on buy dowels and wood from BnQ and other diy stores, but I do not know if they safe and untreated so haven’t brought any, as I did not want to take a risk.

I was thinking of buying willow sticks like this: https://www.bakerross.co.uk/natural-willow-branches

Thanks

I've used wicker wreaths from craft stores with my birds.

You can disinfect the branches with white vinegar and then place them in a 250 degree Fahrenheit oven for a 1/2 hour or so.

I merged your two threads. Please do not ask the same question in multiple threads.

Did you check the safe wood list?
Yes, bamboo is safe as long as it is not treated with pesticides.
