Unhappy My little budgie is losing her balance! Help me guys please.

Hey guys.
Please forgive me for my awful English but I need Urgent help and I don't know who could help us.

Unfortunately after 2 years I am here in emergency room.

I just noticed a hour ago that my little budgie is loosing her balance. She was acting strangely, and when she was trying to fly finally she totally lost her balance. She barely stands now on her feets on her stick.
She seemed healthy today, and suddenly bang...
In the last wheek I noticed that she is so sleepy but otherwise she was in good mood usually.
I also noticed a strange brown little spot on her beak (a wheek ago approx.) but it became a little darker. I was reading for beak illness but I did not find anything which looks like this. I don't know if that has any connection to her current condition.

I gave her cooked egg and apple today. Both budgies of my eat, but only one is ill. I smell the egg and it was totally good. I eat the other side of the apple, it was good too.
I really hope she will recover but I know that the loosing balance at birds which appears suddenly can be really dangerous.

I also gave her 1-2 drop water mixed with vitamin powder 10 mins ago.
I am afraid if her condition will not getting any better I will lose her soon.

Please give me some advices.
Thank you
FregO

You need to take your bird to an avian vet. A brown spot on the beak can be a sign of fatty liver disease. If that is what is causing the spot the vet should be able to give you some meds for that. There can also be neurological problems with fatty liver disease which could account for the balance issues you are seeing.

I am so sorry your little girl is sick ,she does need to be seen by a qualified avian vet it sounds like she has some problems that need to be looked at fast. Keep her in a warm and quiet place put her in a small cage with some material or padding on the bottom in case she falls, I do hope she pulls through. Thinking healing thoughts but she does need a vet.

hey guys! Thanks the feedbacks. Unfortunately there are not any avian-vets on the area, not even sure if there is any in my country. So I have a choice to cure her at home or doing nothing Maybe to take her to a simple animal vet, but they don't know almost nothing about budgies.

Anyways I was browsing on the internet and you guys had right I think.
Unfortunately the dark spot on my budgies beak is very similar to this one:https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...interBeak4.png

And that budgie has indeed liver disease which seems really dangerous to me :/
I will try to take a clear picture of my budgie later today.
I hope is early enough to home treat her somehow.

Looks like she feels a little bit better, she can balancing herself much better at moment, but she is still so sleepy. At night she did not turn her head backwards like usually.
And since yesterday she is trying to bite softly everything nearby (her water can, the grid of the cage, etc. Strange

Thanks the feedbacks again people!

I'd advise that if you couldn't get her to an avian vet to maybe call up any local vets to see if they have anyone with an exotic animal interest as they'll know more in regards to you little budgie ... All vets have a small amount of training in birds so if you can't find any that have an interest i would just take her anyways as they'll probably Have some medical knowledge to help the situation and might be able to proscribe some medication

Hey again.
I took a photo of my budgie. Is not the best but this is the only clear one:

https://postimg.org/image/nh0m6qh9v/

She felt so much better today than yesterday evening but still not okey from far.
But I'm worried that her condition can change so quickly.

despoinaki, I live in romania, Transilvania. I never ever heard avian vet in this country. ...What a shame!

Thank you Bethanyi your advice. I know a veterinary assistant and hopefully I can catch her soon.
Ty all!

I am sorry for the late response, how is she doing? Is she better? I made some searches through the internet and I wasn't able to find an avian vet. Do you live in Timisoara? I was able to find a university of veterinary expertise in Cluj Napoca, maybe if you call them, they can help you!
Their phone number is this: +40-264-596.384
As an alternative, you can seek help from an avian vet on-line:

Did you contact the veterinary assistant?

get some milk thistle liquid and give her some in her water, this is a good liver detox. Probiotics, order them online through Amazon or Ebay .
