Baytril is great for treating bacterial infections of the digestive tract, but perhaps your vet could recommend another antibiotic (such as Azithromycin) for respiratory infections. I got it in drops at my pharmacy and mixed it up.

Perhaps trying another antibiotic for a minimum of 14 days will give you better, longer-lasting results.

Best of luck!

Smile Ear

Have the vets checked for a sinus infection ? An avian vet can take a micro tube and wash out the ear canal which also effects the sinus cavities and then use Gentamycin drops in nose or ears to reach the infection deep in the sinus? Also a change of oral antibiotic may be the key as the infecting organism may be immune to the Baytril.. Please let us know what your vet suggests next. Blessings, Jo Ann
