Default Herbs

I was thinking of putting some potted plants back into my flight cage.
I have only ever done this with (organic chemical free soil) bird seed I planted and let grow. My budgies loved it.
Was thinking if it's safe of doing some herbs next.
Anyone have suggestion on safe herbs and none safe herbs I can plant for my budgies?

I'm sure your budgies would love having their own little herb garden in their flight cage.

My budgies particularly love basil and cilantro so you might consider trying those two plants first.

My guys love Basil, thyme. sprouts, parsley in small amounts, I love how they smell after eating their herbs YUMMY.
