Default Scotty has gone downhill

My females attacked my three males this morning. since then the females have been rehomed to the local avairy

All three boys were treated and wounds cleaned ect. they all starting to eat/drink be normal

In the last hour Scotty has gone downhill. He has fallen off his perch twice and struggled to get up. He then rolled to the side and started shaking. He keeps leaning forward on his perch like he cannot grip it

I am preparing myself for the worst. All vets near me are closed now until tommorrow

What can I do overnight to help please?

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope it's just the shock. You can try to keep him warm and feed him millet. Make sure he stays hydrated. Maybe it helps to play soft music or budgie sounds for him. I hope he feels better soon!

I don't know... How did he act after the fight? Was his behaviour normal or did he already show signs of shock or stress? Maybe he is in pain since you wrote in another thread that a part of his cere is ripped off... Poor little thing! I hope you stopped the bleeding.

He behaved normal afterwards. was more concerned with trying to chat up the males and preen them like he always does.

its like he is a different budgie now - very tired looking. He keeps trying to fly from one perch to the other but he cannot even do that. started to breath quite fast.

Did he lose much blood? If so it also could be the loss of blood.

Sometimes the shock comes from the actual attack and not so much the loss of blood.

Keep him in a warm, dimly lit room. Cover half of the cage with a towel to help. Make sure he has plenty of millet, you can soak it in electrolyte solution (sugar free Pedialyte works well) so he eats it and helps his system recover.
A little ACV in his water might also help his system.
The most important thing is to keep him warm and safe. Don't make any sudden movements and treat him just like a very sick budgie. Even though I'm sure tomorrow he will feel better, the shock is often crippling and he will need lots of special attention.

I hope this helps, I'm really praying for the recovery of you three gorgeous boys!

So then it might be shock or he is in pain.

He sound's pretty stressed. Perhap's he has an injury that doesn't show like a leg strain. Until you can get him to the vet, do as Starling suggested and keep him nice and warm, and hydrated. prayer's for the little guy...
