Default Should Spencer see a vet?

Yesterday Spence was having his daily fly when he fell behind the bookshelf. His wing looked a little crooked, but it looks fine now, and he's flying fine. Also, He feels hot (as in, his feet and body), he's shaking a little like he's cold and he's blinking more than usual, and he is reluctant to hop on me and seems a bit jumpy. Please, advice!

Most likely your Spencer is stressed by the earlier accident. It's good that he didn't hurt his wing and he is able to fly. For now, just give him some quiet time to recover from the scary ordeal and cover the cage on 3 sides to make him feel more safe and keep him warm. You can also place a warm water bottle underneath the cage for extra heat (covering half the cage, so he can escape the heat if needed).
The fact that he feels hot to your touch means he is conserving his heat to better cope with the situation he has been in. Make sure he is eating well too, you can soak millet spray on electrolyte solution to give him a little boost.

Right now taking him to a vet will add further stress on him. So just keep on monitoring him and unless you see some signs of illness then take him to the vet's.

Hopefully your Spencer will very soon bounce back from the scary ordeal, I'm wishing your boy a speedy recovery.

I agree with Aluz. For now just keep him quiet, and let him settle. Keep an eye on his dropping's and overall behavior. I bet he'll be back to normal in no time...

Spencer did go through a frightening situation, I agree with Aluz, however if he still is not acting like his normal self in a couple of days then perhaps a vet visit would be of benefit.

I'm moving your thread about Spencer over to the "Follow-Up" section of the forum.

Please use this thread to give us an update on his condition.
Hopefully, he's over his fright and with a day or two of rest his little wing will be just fine.

Thank you all for your concern, and thank you for your advice! The little rockstar is feeling better, and is up to his usual tricks
Thanks aluz, I covered him on 3 sides, and put on the heater, he was feeling much better this morning, his wing seems fine too.
The silly bird has taken to playing possum now....

That's great news, I'm glad your Spencer is feeling so much better and is back to his playful self!
