No I can't see any blood .. and she coudln't hurt it from nothing

she has another problem - a big wound near her neck.. we struggle with it for almost 2 months now because she always rips it open and it bleeds..
can that be connected?

and she's been biting that leg all day...I thought she's cleaning it ...

It sounds like your bird needs to see an avian vet quickly, can you post a photo of your bird on here please, but make an emergency appointment with your vet first please.

Thankfully the wound on her neck isn't as bad as I was expecting, but I would definately make an appointment to see an avian vet as soon as possible, hopefully they will be able to sort out her leg and neck at the same time, can your bird flap both wings, I'm just wondering if she has had a small stroke in which case she wouldn't be able to flap her left wing properly ?

Thank you pete
we already been to the vet about the wound - had antibiotics..
and we tried to put a collar on her but she keeps taking it off.
what in your mind can be treated for such wound?

about the wings - she flapps them both but the left wing is kinda "stuck" after plapping if you can understand what I mean..
I did see that she can strech her entire leg but only can't balance on the foot..
what does it mean? she will live? (

okay what I can see from now :
- she can walk from side to side on the perch but tucks her leg right after that
- and she eats normally - standing on the dish like always with both feet.

In this case I would be returning to the vet to have her checked again, please don't worry she will live, but because I'm not trained in veterinary practice I would go back to the vet, I don't know if they can do this but they may be able to glue the wound on her neck to keep it closed, but that is the vets decision, you obviously care alot about your bird and I admire you for that.
For now I would just keep her warm and comfy, maybe put something like a towel on the cage floor so that if she finds it uncomfortable to perch then she has the option to be comfy on the cage floor.

Thanks you so much !
you made me calm !
I don't know if you saw but I edited my message :

I think those are good signs.. no?
I don't know seems like it's getting better, maybe she had like a "muscle" ache is that possible for birds? bad landing on the foot?

I care about her so much hehe it's true

Yes that definately sounds promising, hopefully she just strained a muscle in her leg/ foot, it does happen, I'm sure you will be able to tell if her foot is giving her pain, but hopefully she will be back to her normal self tomorrow
If the cut on her neck doesn't get any better in the next few days I would definately take her back to the vet, the last thing you want is for it to get infected.
Pete
