Welcome to the forums, Marta.

The noise your budgie is making is not normal at all and in the short portion of the video I see some heavy movements on the chest area indicating potential respiratory distress. While I can't see your budgie's tail, he does seem to have very laboured breathing.
The condition your budgie is in is not a good one and he needs immediate medical attention from a specialized avian vet, so that he gets the proper diagnosis and treatment.

I'm moving your thread to the Emergency Room section where it's most appropriate.

dear Aluz

here i am attaching another video, so you can see him bit better.
during the day he is very lively,he is out of the cage and seems ok.

our bird Pictures, our bird Images, our bird Photos, our bird Videos - Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

the noise he makes till now is just in the everning and happened only 2-3times.
the chest movement is not visible during the day.just when he makes this noise.

first i thought he is just copying a sound from the radio or something...isnt it possible?
or he feels lonely and its a kind of attencion seeking

cheers
Marta

On the first video you posted, the noise made is not typical for a budgie, not even for seeking attention.

The fact that he does this strange sound at night, possibly when it's colder and when budgies are supposed to settle down to sleep is also not a good sign.
I find unlikely that the noise was something he learnt through mimicking.
When budgies mimic words or other bird's calls, these are intertwined with their normal budgie singing and the feeling I got from the video is that your budgie is having problems with his breathing and the respiratory system seems to be badly affected.

Just as a comparison, when we have the flu our symptoms and general well being will always worsen at the day's end. We also get more congestion on our airways as night approaches. The same can be happening to your budgie, his breathing worsens at night and you hear that strange sound.

Welcome to talk budgies...
After watching those video's I completely agree with Aluz. If it were my bird I would be getting it in to an avian vet ASAP....please keep us posted on your birds condition....

Hello Marta and to the forums!

I completely agree with the above posters. Your budgie sounds very ill and if you don't get him to an avian vet, he may get much worse and could even die as a result of the congestion and/or infection.

For now, to ease his symptoms, you can put boiling water or a warm mist humidifier next to the cage (where he can't get to it) and cover all of it with a sheet of towel to keep the steam in. If you have pure eucalyptus oil, you can add a few drops to the water.

This is not a cure and will only help his breathing temporarily while you wait for an appointment for him. This cannot be treated at home.

Please keep us updated on his condition! I hope you're able to get him the care he needs.

I'm glad you've joined the forums!

Sending positive thoughts and healing energy for your little budgie. I'm praying he will have a full and speedy recovery.

Please be sure to update us in this thread after his Avian Vet appointment.

Avian Vets have special training to determine the cause of symptoms resulting from illness or trauma. This is important as "regular" vets will often overlook symptoms that are quickly obvious to an Avian Vet.
When you rely on anyone who has not had training in Avian diagnosis and care, you may be delaying effective treatment. This can prolong suffering that may be avoidable.
The bird will often require a more intense, prolonged treatment with a poorer chance of full recover than it would have if you seek prompt professional diagnosis and treatment at the first sign of illness.

I'm moving your thread over to the follow-up section of the forum at this time.

Best wishes

I'm very glad your budgie has been responding well to treatment and that his appetite and energy levels have increased!
I'm sending my best wishes for your budgie's full recovery and hope he will continue to be healthy and happy for many years to come.
